Coming back from Anime Expo 2026, we thought we'd break down some of the events happening around the convention and in the convention as well. First up, we got a chance to visit Kodansha House Los Angeles 2026 a bit before it opened up to the public.

Kodansha is one of the big three manga publishers in Japan. Kodansha USA, which is their US branch, has been publishing manga in English for years. This year, they set up a special exhibition outside of Anime Expo 2026 to showcase their works.

Some of their most famous works include Fairy Tail, Attack on Titan, Vinland Saga, Ghost in the Shell, and, more recently, Blue Lock, Witch Hat Atelier, and many others. Kodansha House 2026 featured these titles and more, with both interactive exhibits and artwork showcasing these Kodansha titles.

If you're a fan of these titles and want to see more artwork and get some pictures with featured exhibits, this would be a great chance to do so, as the event is running until the 12th of July, 2026.

At the exhibit, you'll see some of the original artwork found in the manga, as well as exclusive art that was scrapped or used as special covers. In addition to the art, you'll also see special artist notes on some of these pieces of art, and things you won't be able to see anywhere else.

Interactive displays can also be found at Kodansha House 2026, featuring the titles listed above. Some of these are displays that showcase the items and objects found in the title's world. Others are even more interactive, including live photos and videos you can take. One such exhibit even tests your football (soccer) skills.

Of course, it wouldn't be a Kodansha exhibit without live manga for you to peruse. A large number of their titles are available and on display. Some of these are old titles that you might not have known were published in English by Kodansha. Other titles even have rare limited edition anthologies, including hardcovers and box sets.

In partnership with Kinokuniya USA, there is also a small pop-up store inside selling some of their latest titles and art books. The Witch Hat Atelier hardcover artbook and anthologies are both available here and honestly look great. Unfortunately for us, the store was not open yet when we went. There are exclusive goods only available at Kodansha House 2026, including apparel and other physical goods.

Given the exhibits and the limited merchandise, if you're located nearby, I would highly recommend you check out Kodansha House 2026. It will only be available for a limited time until July 12, 2026.
